We are immensely excited to welcome Chris Mullineux, of Mullineux Wines in South Africa, to host a winemaker’s dinner with us at Noble Rot Wine Bar. In 2007, after working several vintages in France, South Africa and California, Chris and Andrea Mullineux established Mullineux Wines at Roundstone Farm in the Swartland wine region, 60 kilometres north of Cape Town. They quickly became considered one of South Africa’s most celebrated wine brands both locally and internationally, making premium, site-specific examples of Chenin Blanc and Syrah amongst other wines.
The evening will celebrate South Africa’s history and wines of both Swartland and Stellenbosch as Chris uncovers his winemaking journey through this unique landscape. Embrace the chance to meet a South African wine legend and enjoy a 5-course degustation menu by head chef Nicolas Mentzas, who draws inspiration from the unique flavours of South African cuisine to create a culinary delight to remember.
